Alexandra Raisman

Aly Raisman, an American gymnast was once a part of both the Fierce Five 2012 as well as the Final Five 2016 US Women's Olympic Gymnastics teams. Aly Raisman was awarded three gold medals at the 2012 Olympics, in London. In addition, she took home a bronze medal on balance beam. She was the first American to have won the most medals at an Olympics. In the 2016, Olympics she was awarded gold in the team event which brought her as well as her teammate Gabby Douglas the credit of being among the few Americans to earn back-to-back team golds. She also won silvers in the individual all around event and floor exercises. The break was for three years between each Olympics from gymnastics competition. She also was part of gold-winning American squads at two World Championships. The gymnastics lessons she began in the age of 2 and her favorite event is floor exercises. Aly donates to the Uniting Against Lung Cancer charity to honor her late grandmother. Aly plans on pursuing the field of fashion, and hopes to broaden her line of signature leotards and socks in future. The book she is working on is entitled Fierce to be published at the end of this year.
